alt Inc. and Tokyo Shoseki begin proof of concept for AI Learning Assistants utilizing large language models
～Developing a new learning service with expertise and personality, utilizing generative AI as a platform for future learning～
alt Inc.(https://alt.ai/en/), the Japan-based developer and distributor of Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.®️) and AI clone technology (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura), and Tokyo Shoseki Co., Ltd. (head office: Kita-ku, Tokyo; President: Norio Watanabe) are pleased to announce the launch of a PoC (proof of concept) aimed at developing a new learning service that leverages altBRAIN (https://altbrain.ai/), a no-code generative AI platform based on alt’s proprietary large language model, LHTM-2.
This PoC aims to develop AI Learning Assistants with specialized knowledge and personality, and is a new initiative in the education field utilizing a large language model (LLM). The AI Learning Assistants capitalize on the strengths of AI by providing tailored feedback and support to individual learners, promoting efficient understanding and mastery of specialized knowledge such as English and mathematics. Additionally, by offering multiple AIs with diverse personalities--including characteristics such as temperament and learning style--the PoC will facilitate continuous and personalized learning with an AI each student gets along with best.
By practicalizing AI Learning Assistants, we aim to realize a learning environment tailored to each learner and solve social issues in the education field, such as the shortage of teachers and highly specialized personnel.

altBRAIN is a generative AI platform developed and distributed by alt Inc., utilizing the capabilities of their large language model LHTM-2. The platform enables the easy, no-code creation of a diverse range of BRAINs, including historical figures and celebrities like Oda Nobunaga, a game strategy BRAIN, and diagnostic BRAINs for fields such as internal medicine and pediatrics.
