alt.ai begins exploring new use cases for image generation AI in collaboration with Stability AI
Accelerating research and development, leveraging the strengths of both companies to establish use cases for generative AI in audio, images, and video
alt Inc. (https://alt.ai/en/), the Japan-based developer and distributor of Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.®️) and AI clone technology (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura), is pleased to announce that it will begin collaboration with Stability AI Japan Ltd. (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Jerry Chi) to establish new use cases for generative AI in audio, images, and video.
Through this collaboration, alt and Stability AI will accelerate research and development that utilizes alt’s AI technologies including deep learning and LLMs and Stability AI's advanced generative AI technology, creating new content, and we will promote applications including the creation of media content and the reconstruction of existing media content in a wide range of fields.
Background of collaboration
Since the rise of ChatGPT, expectations for LLMs/generative AI have continued to grow. However, few products have seen successful widespread implementation, even overseas. Stability AI will work together with alt, a leader in the generative AI industry with a strong fundraising track record and extensive know-how in LLMs and LLM-based products, to establish use cases for generative AI rooted in the Japanese market.
In addition, the Japanese market is unparalleled in the world in its scale, with its abundance of anime and other content. The quality of both creators and customers is also high, and by collaborating on the social implementation of generative AI by leveraging the technological capabilities of alt and Stability AI, we will create use cases from Japan that are ahead of the global market.
