Notification of New Chief Officer Appointed

al+, Inc. which has developed ”al+”, the Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO, Mr. Kazutaka Yonekura) appointed Ms. Haruko Yamaguchi as their Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Mr. Yoshikazu Nishimura as their Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with effect from Nov 1, 2017.

With the completion of Series B fundraising, al+ will promote broader and deeper collaborations with domestic and overseas industries, and also significantly strengthen the structure of their field of research.

As the new CTO, Mr. Nishimura will collaborate closely with researchers from various countries and take the lead in the field of technology to help improve the level of al+’s research and development in artificial intelligence. Ms. Yamaguchi will take the lead to reinforce al+’s publicity and marketing functions and its execution to establish al+’s global presence.


Yoshikazu Nishimura, newly appointed CTO

Researched on DNA computing during his studies at Waseda University. Thereafter received a Master degree in Computational Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California. Researched in DNA sequencing analysis, RNA / protein structure prediction. His experience in DNA base sequence processing led to his interest in natural language processing. In 2005, joined Nippon Oracle Corporation as a consultant. In 2011, appointed as a director of Link and Partners Inc. In 2013, founded Comps Co., Ltd and assumed office as CEO. In 2015, appointed as the Chief Architect of al+. In Nov 1, 2017, appointed as CTO of al+.

Yamaguchi Haruko, newly appointed CTO

After graduation from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 1990, joined Mazda Motor Corporation. Responsible for the domestic sales department and participated in the “change management project team” directly under the president in 2000. In 2001, joined Fujitsu Limited. Responsible for analyst relations and global branding, etc. Resided in UK since 2010. After being assigned to the global marketing department, was responsible for the planning and promotion of new solutions to plan and develop strategic global programs and global branding campaigns. After returning to Japan in 2014, appointed as the Director of the Marketing Strategy Department. Joined Teradata Japan in 2016, collaborated with the International Division to be in charge of domestic marketing as the General Manager for the Marketing Division. From Nov 1, 2017, appointed as CMO of al+ Inc.
