alt Inc. announces the launch of its distributed computing infrastructure project, EMETH, and begins recruitment for participating nodes

In addition, the company is pleased to announce today the release of the "Emeth White Paper v.1.0" in preparation for the full-scale operation of EMETH.

■EMETH Distributed Computing Platform Overview
EMETH is one of the distributed computing, and the distributed computing project that aims to create a new economic cycle by matching individuals and companies in need of computer computing power with personal gaming PCs, data center servers, and other resources, providing value to unused and vacant resources.
One example of usage of EMETH is as a means of providing computing power, which is essential for running AI. A job that requires large-scale computational resources can be divided, and the results of the computation can be requested to a complex of PCs and servers, called a node, which is connected to the EMETH platform.
The cost of obtaining the results of this calculation will be equitably distributed based on EMETH's automatic contract for the distribution of compensation and on the balance between supply and demand. For this reason, it is anticipated that this service can be provided at a reduced cost compared to that of utilizing existing cloud servers.
On the client side, computing power can be secured at a low cost, and on the node side (the provider of computing power), even free resources and older GPU machines can join the node and receive rewards by making available a certain level of computing power.
The EMETH Association has begun providing an environment for those who wish to contribute computing power to EMETH, as well as the recruitment and support of participating nodes. ■EMETH's underlying philosophy of solving social problems

In 2009, the launch of Bitcoin spurred a global revolution toward the decentralization of truth. A new sphere of economic competition called mining was born, and for over a decade, the semiconductor industry has continued to evolve and create new value. The EMETH Association and the EMETH developers at alt have continued to develop more efficient and sustainable distributed computing by utilizing previously idle semiconductors.
The goal of EMETH is to share computing power freely and equitably among the people of the world through distributed computing. As an impartial platform that provides power to people's questing minds, explorers of all human wisdom, and a guiding force for truth (EMETH), we will create a future where the world is more prosperous, and everyone has access to the crystallization of human wisdom, by connecting the computing power created by humankind into one. To pave the way for future expansion of our distributed computing base, alt has launched EMETH's ‘Codename NOVA’ Innovation Phase and is seeking computing power providers.

NOVA is the codename for the EMETH platform's initial development phase. This phase will consist of adding job categories and taking steps to create new value together with initial computing power providers and platform users.
