alt Inc., Masterpiece, and Comdesign jointly develop large-scale language processing model LHTM-2 call center version
Next-generation automatic FAQ generation and response functionality implemented in AI-BPO Double BRAIN

alt Inc.(https://alt.ai/en/), a Japan based developer of AI Clone and Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.®️) (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura), has formed a business alliance with Masterpiece Group, Inc.(headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Juri Nakajima; hereinafter "Masterpiece") and ComDesign inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenji Terao; hereinafter "Comdesign") to link the large-scale language processing model "LHTM to jointly develop a new solution service to realize automatic generation of FAQs and automatic responses in call center operations by linking the large-scale language processing model known as "LHTM-2"*1 and ChatGPT developed by alt to AI-BPO Double BRAIN, an AI-based voice interaction call center jointly developed by the three companies.

 

 

In September 2021, alt announced the initial version of its proprietary large-scale language processing model, LHTM (Large-scale Heuristic Thinking Model)*2. Research and development of LHTM continued until February 2023, when alt announced LHTM-2. LHTM-2 is composed of the same number of parameters as OpenAI's GPT-3 and is capable of natural text generation and text creation assistance. The system is designed to be flexible and customizable, allowing for factual output to be internally guided, for example.

 

Also in February, the company announced that it would begin supporting demonstrations of AI in various industries by leveraging its language processing technology and expertise in building large-scale language processing models.

 

AI-BPO Double BRAIN, jointly developed by alt, Masterpiece, and Comdesign, will be equipped with LHTM-2-based generative AI technology to reduce operator workload, improve call center operation efficiency, and support clients' efforts to improve customer satisfaction and business operations. The system also supports further problem-solving in improving customer satisfaction and business processes.

 

In addition, companies that have already introduced or plan to introduce AI-BPO Double BRAIN will be invited to participate in a demonstration experiment of this solution.

AI BPO Double BRAIN, designed based on Masterpiece's more than 20 years of call center operation know-how, is equipped with a Voice Bot function that links the AI voice recognition technology cultivated by alt's AI GIJIROKU with Comdesign's cloud CTI CT-e1/SaaS. The Voice Bot function allows AI to automatically respond to customers' questions.

 

The new system comes standard with alt's natural language engine NeoRMR and immediately hands over to operators those inquiries that cannot be handled by the Voice Bot alone.
