Commencement of joint research with Ryutaro Ichise of National Institute of Informatics to strengthen Ontology research system

Aiming for realization of accurate dialogue with advanced understanding of artificial intelligence

Alt, Inc. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo, CEO, Mr. Kazutaka Yonekura) has commenced a joint research concerning the auo-extraction of Ontology data with Associate Professor, Ryutaro Ichise of National Institute of Informatics.

Through this tie-up, al+ will accelerate research to realize highly accurate ontology data extraction from usual conversation under the technical guidance of Associate Professor Ichise who has the most advanced knowledge in knowledge structure research in Japan.

By constructing an autonomously growing knowledge database structure using artificial intelligence and efficiently reflecting the generated large database in the dialog system, we will realize accurate dialogues with high degree of understanding for human communication.

Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Information Engineering Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995. Graduated from doctoral course majoring in School of Information Science and Technology Graduate School of Computer Science and Engineering. Doctor (Engineering) in 2000

Served as the Assistant Professor of Principles of Informatics from 2000. From 2007, became the Associate Professor of National Institute of Informatics at the National Institute of Informatics.

Engaged in research on artificial intelligence, especially machine learning, knowledge discovery, knowledge sharing and so on. Member of AAAI, The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence, The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, Information Processing Society of Japan, Japanese Cognitive Science Society
