Announcement of Business Integration with alt Inc. and alt Technologies

Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) developer alt Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura),  will merge with its consolidated subsidiary, alt Technologies Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshitaka Yonekura), with the effective date of October 1, 2020.



alt Inc. has been conducting research and development of AI for the realization of P.A.I., while alt Technologies Inc. has been operating by providing AI products to customers. This merger is aimed at combining the strengths of both companies, streamlining the business by speeding up the promotion of the business, and improving management efficiency by strengthening internal control, in order to provide even more added value to customers.

 

【Summary of the transaction】
Effective date: October 1, 2020
The merger will be an absorption-type merger with alt Corporation as the surviving company, and alt Technologies, Inc. will be dissolved and become an internal spin-off of the Company.
