alt has been developing AI GIJIROKU to promote DX (digital transformation) of conferences.
In actual use, one of the major issues was that simultaneous speech from multiple people in a meeting would get mixed up, degrading the accuracy of the transcription. In addition, the accuracy of speech recognition was uneven depending on the position of the speaker.
AI GIJIROKU MAX, which can be experienced at our booth, is a new solution that combines two of NTT-AT's Voice Compass 12-way microphone modules (hardware) with alt's AI GIJIROKU (software) to solve the above problems.
A single device can collect sound from up to six speakers, and transcription is possible with an accuracy of over 95% when multiple people speak sequentially without overlapping voices. Even when they speak simultaneously, an accuracy of over 90% has been recorded.
