alt Inc. and NTT-AT jointly develop "AI GIJIROKU MAX" with high-precision speaker separation
Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) developer alt Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura), in collaboration with NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (Head office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Takeharu Kimura; hereinafter "NTT-AT"), will jointly develop a service to link microphones to increase the accuracy of speaker separation when using "AI GIJIROKU (AI Minutes)," an automatic transcription tool for meeting minutes provided by alt Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "NTT-AT") to jointly develop a microphone linkage service to improve the accuracy of speaker separation when using "AI GIJIROKU (AI Minutes)" https://gijiroku.ai/en/, an automatic transcription tool for meeting minutes provided by alt Inc.
AI GIJIROKU is equipped with a speaker separation function using our AI technology, but there have been customer requests for improved separation accuracy in cases of overlapping speech and separation of guests whose voiceprints cannot be registered.
In order to solve this problem, NTT-AT developed the hardware and we provide the service user interface, which enables a single microphone device to collect sound in up to 12 separate directions (*1) and accurately identify approximately 6 speakers.
The hardware is equipped with multiple MEMS (*2) microphones, and the directionality can be sharpened by software processing using IM-ASTER technology (*3).
By linking this to alt’s "AI GIJIROKU", the speaker in the conference room is linked to the voice recognition result, and highly accurate speaker separation in the same minutes is realized.
This makes it possible to separate speakers without voiceprint registration, which was difficult with AI technology alone, and to recognize voices when they overlap, making the industry's highest level of automatic minutes creation even more convenient.
