alt Inc., in Collaboration with NTT-AT, Releases Beta Version of "AI GIJIROKU MAX" — Seeking Partners to Participate in Demonstration Experiment
Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) developer alt Inc.(https://alt.ai/en/) (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura) and NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Tadashi Ito, President; hereinafter "NTT-AT") have launched the beta version of "AI GIJIROKU MAX," a new service that combines NTT-AT's microphone module "Voice Compass" and alt's automatic meeting recording tool "AI GIJIROKU (AI Minutes) https://gijiroku.ai/en, a new service that combines the two to improve speaker separation and recognition accuracy when used, "AI GIJIROKU MAX" beta version is now available. In conjunction with this, we are now accepting applications from partner companies to participate in the demonstration experiment.

About the Collaboration
NTT-AT has developed a microphone device based on IM-ASTER technology researched and developed by NTT Computer & Data Science Laboratories, and NTT TechnoCross Corporation provides a set of intelligent microphone libraries and developer's manuals. The microphone module "Voice Compass," which is provided as a set with a microphone device developed by NTT-AT, an intelligent microphone library provided by NTT Technocross Corporation, and a developer's manual, has been applied to "AI GIJIROKU," an automatic meeting minutes tool currently provided by alt, to further enhance the accuracy of meeting minutes creation.
NTT-AT and alt have decided to jointly launch a new service called "AI GIJIROKU MAX.”
About "AI GIJIROKU MAX
alt has been developing "AI GIJIROKU" to promote the DX (Digital Transformation) of meetings.
In actual use, one of the major issues was that simultaneous speech from multiple people in a meeting would often become mixed up, which would reduce transcription accuracy. In addition, the accuracy of speech recognition was uneven depending on the position of the speaker.
“AI GIJIROKU MAX," a new solution that combines NTT-AT's "Voice Compass," the world's first 12-way microphone module (i.e., hardware) and alt's "AI GIJIROKU" (i.e., software), has solved the above problems.
A single device can collect sound from up to six speakers, and transcription was possible with over 95% accuracy when multiple people spoke sequentially without overlapping voices. Notably, over 90% accuracy was also recorded for simultaneous speech.

Demonstration Experiment
(1) Experiment details
The following accuracy tests will be conducted in a conference room using the beta version of "AI GIJIROKU MAX" to transcribe the meeting minutes with multiple participants.
・Accuracy of transcription and speaker identification during simultaneous speech
・Speech recognition of multiple speakers
・Transcription accuracy of conversations in noisy environments such as open spaces
(2) Recruitment of demonstration experiment partners
With the release of the beta version of "AI GIJIROKU MAX," we are seeking partners to conduct a demonstration experiment using "AI GIJIROKU MAX" in actual meetings and other settings to test its usefulness with regard to improving work efficiency in taking meeting minutes.
We are now accepting applications for demonstration partners who will conduct a demonstration experiment to confirm the usefulness of "AI GIJIROKU MAX" in improving operational efficiency in creating meeting minutes by using "AI GIJIROKU MAX" in actual meetings.
