alt Inc. exhibits Digital Clone of Kenichiro Mogi at Miraikan's "Kimi to Robot" in Collaboration with Video Research, Inc.
Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) developer alt Inc.(https://alt.ai/en/) (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura) has announced that it has developed a digital clone of the brain scientist Kenichiro Mogi in collaboration with Video Research, Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Wataru Mochizuki, President and CEO; hereinafter "Video Research"), will be exhibited in the special exhibition "You and Robot: Ningen tte, nanda?" (https://kimirobo.exhibit.jp/), which will be held at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) from Friday, March 18, 2012.

Visitors to the exhibit will be able to interact with a digital clone of Kenichiro Mogi, a neuroscientist who was jointly developed by the company and Video Research.
Our goal is for visitors to experience the current state of human digital cloning technology and for them to learn about the possibilities of digital cloning and artificial intelligence technology. Additionally, we hope that they will begin to consider the challenges involved.
In addition, a digital clone of the philosopher Nietzsche will be on display as a conversation partner for Kenichiro Mogi. In the absence of questions from visitors, the two digital clones will continue to engage in conversation.
It remains to be seen how the conversation between the digital clones, which reflect the personalities of each individual, will evolve over the course of the exhibition; however, we believe that it will have a certain value as a demonstration experiment.
