A.I. Developer al+ Inc. Concluded an Industry-academia Cooperation Contract with Kurihara Laboratory (Graduate School of Information Systems, The University of Electro-Communications) in the Development Environment for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

al+ Artificial Intelligence Advanced Technology Development Steady Research Progress

al+ Inc. (CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura, head office: Koto Ward, Tokyo) and Kurihara Laboratory, Graduate School of Information Systems, The University of Electro-Communication (Professor: Satoshi Kurihara, hereafter Kurihara Laboratory) concluded a contract of their industry-academia cooperation in technology research and development of AGI (artificial general intelligence)’s development environment.

Kurihara Laboratory researches and studies the construction of intelligence systems that can highly adapt themselves to dynamic complex systems. al+ sets its goal at realizing smooth human-A.I. communication, and propels A.I. development with acquisition of broad skills, which is called AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), with this cooperation.

In recent years artificial intelligence has been attracting much attention in a number of areas. It’s projected that the artificial intelligence industry will grow to 4.8 trillion yen by 2027 (Projected by Gartner Research)

We are determined to be the leader of this field in Asia, and are aggressively adopting different knowledge and information from inside and outside.

Professor Satoshi Kurihara and the members of Kurihara Laboratory will support and guide our A.I. development with their advanced knowledge, technologies and experiences.

We will continuously work hard to utilize advanced technologies as a product to solve diverse problems in our society through this industry-academia cooperation.
