alt Inc. which has developed ”al+”, the Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO, Mr. Kazutaka Yonekura) appointed Dr. Danushka Bollegala, Associate Professor from the University of Liverpool, UK as their CSO（Chief Scientific Officer.

Mr. Bollegala's appointment as CSO is to further accelerate research on natural language processing technologies that al+ has been working on as one of their top priorities in personal artificial intelligence development and the strengthening of their research on semantic expression analysis in sentences.
 
About Dr. Danushka Bollegala

Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology, Associate Professor of University of Liverpool Ph.D. in Information Science from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo Associate Professor and Lecturer for Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Tokyo Engaged in research and educational activities in natural language processing, web/ data mining, artificial intelligence and statistical machine learning. Associate member of the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council's (EPSRC) Peer Review College.
